Nursing Home Visitors

Volunteers from Holy Cross visit Indian Creek and Indian Meadows Nursing Centers. Sometimes Mass is celebrated and the rosary said. Volunteers host Bingo every fourth Thursday evening and assist the Centers with activities such as games, music and birthday parties. There is a great need for one-on-one visits. At Christmas, we adopt residents without families. The goal of the nursing home ministry is to show the residents that Holy Cross parishioners care.
