- On your way to work, visit a new parish and attend daily mass.
- Watch a video and learn more about our Rice Bowl country for the week, Afghanistan at orb.crs.org
- Call a family member that you haven’t spoken to in a while and ask them how their Lent is going.
- Attend Stations of the Cross on Friday night at 5:30 pm. Enjoy the K of C fish dinner and meet a new friend.
- Steal 12 minutes some time during your day to read a daily meditation. Try www.sacredspace.ie for some prayer ideas.
- Clean out a closet and give something to Turnstyles.
- Sit on your patio and soak up the sun. Meditate on the miracle of spring’s awakening.
- Fill in one of the open hours in the Adoration Chapel.
- Pray for the Runnin’ Revs who play on Monday, and for Bryson Connor, our 8th grade rep!

Father Mark will lead an Evening of Reflection on Thursday, March 18, 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., in Room 3. His topic will be “Centering Prayer.” Centering Prayer is a silent Christian meditation practice that traces its origins to the Desert Fathers of the 3rd and 4th centuries. Through instruction, practice and reflection, he will explain the value of praying in this particular way, and teach participants how to do it. There will be time for questions as well as information about Centering Prayer groups in the area, including our own prayer group here at Holy Cross. There is no fee, but you are asked to register in advance by contacting the

Ready or not, here we go! Welcome to our new and improved parish website. We'll need a few months to get it right, but we are very excited about the possibilities! We still pay for the website in the same way that we have paid for our paper bulletin, that is, through advertising revenue. So for you business owners out there, there are now WEBSITE SPONSORSHIPS AVAILABLE! You'll see them popping up all over the place. During the next several weeks, Travis Gear, our parish representative from Solutio, Inc., will be setting up the advertising for our website for the year. It’s a great way to get your name in front of the families in the parish. Advertisements may be purchased for a business, family memorial, or you can sponsor an ad supporting Catholic Charities, Knights of Columbus, etc. Please give these ideas some thought. We need and appreciate your help! If you are interested or just curious as to prices and want more info, please e-mail Travis anytime at
