Estate Planning Seminar
Written by Robert Bacic
Thursday, 23 October 2014 16:53

Is your will and/or trust up to date? The time to review your estate planning is now. Educate yourself about the steps you can take to avoid the probate courts, minimize taxes and leave the most you can for your loved ones. There is no cost to attend. All ages are welcome.

This important seminar is being held on Monday, November 3, at 2:00 pm or 7:00 pm in Room 1.

Kevin Petracek from Parman and Easterday law firm, and the Catholic Foundation of Northeast Kansas, will lead the seminar. He will help you learn the basic tools of estate planning, so you can:

  • minimize taxes
  • name a guardian for your minor children
  • ensure your property will be transferred to those you want in the way you want
  • name who you want to handle the business affairs of your estate
  • name someone to make medical decisions who shares your values and will follow your wishes
  • maximize your gifts to charity
